Volleyball is available to all students from Years 7 to 12, with students competing in various competitions throughout the year. The School competes in the GPS competition in term 1, fielding two to three teams in each age division. A volleyball camp is held in the first week prior to the first term. Coaches are sourced from both teaching staff and Old Boys with the necessary expertise.

Volleyball at Brisbane Grammar School has enjoyed considerable success. Since 1998, Brisbane Grammar School has won the Championship trophy in the GPS Competition 12 times, including an eleven year winning streak from 2003 to 2013.

Throughout the year, the School also competes in various Queensland and National Schools Competitions and many talented players have represented the School  at regional, state and national levels.

The volleyball program is assisted by a committed parent group, who support the players during home games and while on tour.

For members of the BGS community, additional information can be found on MyGrammar.
