As part of our BGS150 celebrations, there will be a 'Back to BGS Weekend' with a range of Old Boy activities on Friday 27 July and Saturday 28 July.
This begins with the Old Boys' Association Annual Reunion Dinner on Friday 27 July, celebrating BGS Old Boys who have followed their dreams and forged careers in the music industry.
Book your place at the ARD as fellow Old Boy and guitar legend Simon Gardner '85 hosts an all-star panel with John Collins '87 and Ian Haug '87 from Powderfinger, David Kidd '88 from the Ten Tenors and Alex Wilson '12 from Shag Rock, an up and coming indie band.
This is a night not to be missed as the panel reflect on challenges and share their unique insights into the music industry and how BGS, their family and old school mates influenced their careers.
The Old Boy weekend events continue into Saturday 28 July, with a BGS Spring Hill campus tour from 11.00am – 12.30pm and the Brisbane Grammar School v Brisbane Boys' College rugby heritage round at the Northgate Playing Fields. Arrive from 1.30pm, the First XV match commences at 2.15pm.
Milestone reunions begin in the late afternoon, including the 1968 50-year reunion (from 5.30pm), 1998 20-year reunion (from 6.00pm), and 2008 10-year reunion (from 6.00pm).

Milestone reunions for 1978 (40 years) and 1988 (30 years) are currently being confirmed.
