Tooletries taking over the world

Have you ever dreamed about quitting your job to risk it all for an idea? Saul '98 and Josh '00 Cockburn, two brothers and BGS Old Boys, did just that. The entrepreneurs left corporate careers to team up and launch Tooletries – producing innovative toiletry organisers for the bathroom.

“Neither of us were very passionate in our existing jobs and you've got to be passionate to be successful," Saul said. “So we had a plan and that was to have no Plan B."

Originally launched on Kickstarter, their silicon shower accessory products can now be found in stores around the world, sold mainly in America, the UK and Japan. Using patented silicone technology, their products grip to shiny smooth surfaces like mirrors, glass or bathroom walls.

As well as creating their own products, ranging from the shower toothbrush and razor holder to the well-publicised shower beer holder, Tooletries also creates silicon products for other companies. Despite their success abroad, the Tooletries businesses remains based in Brisbane with the products designed locally.
