I warmly invite you to visit our Middle School community on Open Day, 12 August. I, along with staff and students, would be delighted to welcome you into our special part of Brisbane Grammar School to show you our various displays and guide you in exploring our facilities. We are a proud and thriving community and we always relish the opportunity to share a glimpse of Middle School life with visitors. Our academic displays will feature student work from all subject areas as well as the transdisciplinary design thinking projects all students engage in during the year. There will also be a host of sporting, co-curricular, student wellbeing and community service displays so you can get an overview of the vast educational program we deliver in the Middle School. You will be able to view a photo board of all our Middle School staff and talk to them throughout our precinct.
The best people to tell you all about Middle School life are of course our students and there will be many of them at school on Open Day to share their own BGS journeys with you.
I will be in the Middle School precinct during the day and would love to meet you, so if you see me please stop for a chat. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, give you directions, or show you around our facilities. You can also find me at the Headmaster's address in The Lilley Centre Forum at 1.30pm.
So please, come and see what Middle School life is like on Open Day; we think it is pretty special.
I look forward to you welcoming you on Open Day.
Head of Middle School
