    R.H. Roe Inkwell set

This exquisitely crafted inkwell set, originally belonging to second Headmaster Reginald Heber Roe, has pride of place on the Headmaster’s desk. The individual pieces, made in London between 1819 and 1821, comprise a sterling silver tray with miniature chamber candlestick holder and extinguisher, flanked by two crystal ink bottles with sterling silver stoppers. The Roe family emblem is engraved on the front of the candlestick-holder.
