    Woolcock Dining Room Table

A Woolcock family story tells of Justice John Laskey drafting legislation for the abolition of the Queensland Upper House on this 1840 dining room table. Woolcock, an Old Boy (BGS 1875-1880), was a Trustee for 40 years and Chairman for 23. He served as Queensland's parliamentary counsel until 1927, when he was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

The four-leaf mahogany extension table takes pride of place in the Woolcock Room, where many business meetings are held throughout the year.
