Parents and Friends
The education of each student is a shared journey. Students, parents, teachers and other members of the School and wider community contribute to the experience, before, during and often long after a graduate's school years are over. Lifelong friendships between students and school mates are just the beginning – being connected to the wider school community can be a richly rewarding relationship for all.
P&F Association
The BGS Parents and Friends’ (P&F) Association acts as an umbrella organisation for a number of support groups associated with individual sports and activities.
The P&F Association encourages parents to contribute their time, treasure and talent to the boys' educational experiences. Parents make friends and benefit from being involved in their son's activities.
Association members provide voluntary services and help to raise funds to support school activities, resources and projects.
We encourage all parents to become actively involved in support groups to enhance your BGS experience. We look forward to meeting you at one of the many BGS events.
P&F Auxiliary
The P&F Auxiliary operates the Grammar Shop and Tuckshop with parent volunteers throughout the year. Revenue from its operations fund many major projects within the School.
Being an Auxiliary volunteer provides a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet each other and helps provide the boys with a much appreciated service.
The Auxiliary organises a number of social events for parents throughout the year; from casual morning teas to the annual Spring Luncheon.
In addition to these activities, the Auxiliary appoints contact representatives for each Year Level. Parents are encouraged to contact these representatives for information.
