The Grammarians’ Rowing Club, like most sporting clubs, has had to shut our shed for the time being. The current circumstances have sadly cut short the sprint regatta season with the cancellation of Queensland Masters State Championships and other lead up events. The good news is that as soon as this has all passed, the club will be ready to get back on the water immediately. Hopefully, the endurance season later in the year will be unaffected. In the meantime, the club has had to innovate with virtual fitness sessions being held via Zoom. Most importantly, we are staying connected via social media groups.

During February and March, we welcomed four new members to the club and are pleased with the traction we are getting in the youth (under 25 years) age groups. While we will not be accepting new members until the club reopens, if you have an interest in joining the club, please email secretary.bgrc@gmail.com. We will keep you informed as things progress.

Finally, the BGRC would like to congratulate the BGS First VIII on a sensational season!
