Megan Marshall awarded Lead Teacher Certification
  • Staff

Acting Head of Economics, Mrs Megan Marshall has recently been awarded Lead Teacher certification, the highest level of national accreditation in the HALT Program that recognises exceptional teaching and teacher leadership within Australian schools.

Jacqui Zervos, Executive Director of Educational Innovation, announced Mrs Marshall’s achievement to staff this week, sharing that Lead Teachers are recognised by their colleagues, parents and community members as both exemplary teachers and leaders.

“Megan’s hard work and dedication to teaching at BGS is being recognised at a National level, and she has achieved the highest level of certification,” said Ms Zervos.

“It’s a rigorous process, and Megan’s commitment to achieving this certification alongside her role as Head of Economics is remarkable.”

The certification is awarded to teachers who have demonstrated consistent and innovative teaching practice over time – where they initiate and lead activities that focus on improving educational outcomes for all students.

Congratulations Mrs Marshall on your achievement.
