Congratulations to BGS Old Boy Fraser McReight ’16 who was named in an extended Wallabies squad. The 21-year-old former Junior Wallabies captain enjoyed an outstanding season for the Reds, helping them to the Super Rugby AU final.

University Acknowledgement

BGS Old Boy Arjuna Kumarasuriyar ’98, our 2020 Foundation Day speaker, has been profiled by The University of Queensland. The fantastic story explains how Arjuna followed his curiosity and turned his interests in science, technology and business into a fulfilling career. Read the story here.

Blanket Innovation

BGS Old Boy Wyatt Westmoreland ’14 has teamed with friend Ed Hodge to launch a business selling infrared sauna blankets online. Since May they have sold 1.25 million blankets to customers in Australia, the US, the UK and Canada. The blankets are much like a sleeping bag that you can plug in. With traditional saunas impacted by COVID restrictions, the portable blankets have proved popular.
