Confirmation Fee
A non-refundable $2850 confirmation fee is payable up to three years prior to a student's entry to the School. Payment of this fee is compulsory for all parents wishing to confirm their son's enrolment. This fee is not deducted from tuition fees.
Advance Fee
An Advance Fee is payable the year prior to entry, of $2000 for entry into Years 5 or 6 or $2500 for entry into Years 7 to 12, and is credited to the first term’s Tuition Fee. If parents cancel their son’s enrolment after payment of the Advance Fee, the payment is forfeited to the School in lieu of notice.
Payment
The School provides a wide range of options for the payment of tuition and boarding fees including cheque, BPAY (using your Visa, Mastercard, cheque or savings account), direct debit and credit card payments via the School's website or free call 1800 791 550. American Express is also accepted.
Payment Plans
Three plans are available:
-
full payment in advance each year, for which a discount is available if fees are paid by the due date
-
four equal instalments through the year
-
ten equal instalments through the year (BPay or direct debit facility must be used for this option - an administration fee applies for this payment method)
Concessions
In the case of three or more brothers attending the School at the same time, a concessional discount of 50% is allowed for the third and subsequent students. This discount may be reviewed at the School's discretion if any brother is in receipt of other fee relief (e.g. through a scholarship or bursary).
*In 2023, Brisbane Grammar School will introduce a 1-1 tablet program for all students in Year 5. The timing aligns with the proposed completion of our new and innovative STEAM Precinct which will see rich integration between various disciplines, including technology. The 1-1 tablet program will provide a seamless digital experience from Year 5 through to Year 12, allowing students to develop critical technological and collaborative skills, digital literacies, and the opportunity to engage in rich and diverse learning experiences. The tablet program will provide a streamlined transition between school and home learning, providing equity and consistency for each Brisbane Grammar School student. The BGS tablet will also replace the need for families to provide a separate device at home for homework and assignments. The 1-1 program will attract a new Technology Levy for Years 5 and 6, the amount of which will be confirmed in due course. At the end of Year 6, students will keep their BGS tablet and receive a new device at the commencement of Year 7.
Forms
Note: The School reserves the right to withdraw an enrolment if fees are not paid as and when they fall due, unless prior arrangements have been agreed in writing.
