I enjoyed the whole experience - from the camping, to being the icebreaker in the creek, to the wonderful staff. As a boarder, the pancake eating competition on last day formed a core memory.
Attending as a Prefect with my 2nd Form class, there was a time when the boys challenged Mrs Storey to a push up challenge. She flogged them. I had to carry one of them most of the way back from a camp out as he had twisted his ankle. Luckily, I was much fitter at that time – thanks to Alec Evans’ training.
