A day in the life of a Year 8 student attending Moogerah in 1981:
Tuesday
6.00am - 1.5 mile run
6.30am - (a) Early boating. Kitchen Crew report for duty.
7.00am - Breakfast
7.30-8.30am - Clean up of duty areas
8.30-12.30pm - Class service project. For Year 8's this involves the clearing of a farmer's wooded paddock of dead timber. This timber is used by the boys for their class bonfire.
12.00-1.00pm - Lunch
1.00-4.00pm - Lake Boarding and swim. Discussion and investigation of water fowl of lake.
4.30pm - Showers.
5.00pm - Kitchen crew report for duty. Free time for class.
5.30pm - Dinner
7.00-9.00pm - Introduction to team initiative problem solving at ropes course.
