The Year 7 adventure to Moogerah had begun
We looked at the extraordinary sight
Laughing from morning till night
Mt. Edwards stood steady, strong, tall
Watching gleefully over us all
Paddles glided in the water as we kayaked in the lake
Friendships formed that time won't untie
Cabins lay around trees so green,
Where we shared our stories, sights, and dreams.
I learned to try when things felt very new
But found a courage that I never knew
I left Lake Moogerah, ready to pursue anything.
