The day of the hike to Mt Edwards was very memorable to me. The kayak over to the base of mountain was beautiful, as was the trek to its peak, but not so on the way down. The rocks were slippery. With what Charlie would call Lachie Motivation, we persevered with minimal falls. We were unable to kayak back across the lake, leaving only Mr Hunter’s car as an option for our return … in our very muddy and wet shoes.
