Deputy Headmaster Cocurricular Greg Thorne said the occasion was as much about families as it was about the athletes themselves.

“Behind every Olympian is a network of family, coaches, and mentors who made sacrifices, offered unwavering support, and allowed young people to chase extraordinary dreams,” he said.

“These achievements stand as a testament not only to individual talent, but to perseverance, discipline and belief.”

The unveiling came amid growing excitement for upcoming Olympic and major international sporting events, including the 2026 Winter Olympic Games and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

“Our primary focus remains providing an environment where every student can improve their own personal trajectory for success—and where sport is embraced as a powerful contributor to wellbeing,” Mr Thorne said.
