Brisbane Grammar School is excited to announce Tom Court as the new Head Coach of Rugby. The former Australian rugby player and Irish international brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the role.

His professional career spans across 14 years, and he has played at top level in both hemispheres. Highlights include Super Rugby, Mitre 10 Cup, United Rugby Championship and the English Premiership. He is a grand slam-winning Irish international (32 caps) and a British and Irish Lion.

He made his Super 14 debut with the Queensland Reds in 2006 and represented Ireland when the side won the 2009 Six Nations Championship after not having won a Grand Slam for 61 years. He also played for Ireland in the 2011 Rugby World Cup Quarter Finals.

Mr. Court retired from professional rugby at the end of the 2016/2017 season and transitioned into coaching, serving as the Assistant Coach for UQ Premier Grade and Forwards Coach for Brothers Premier Grade.

He has lent his expertise to the Rohrig Elite Development Program as Assistant Coach and Performance Consultant, focusing on enhancing performance under pressure.

We are delighted to have someone of his calibre lead our Rugby program, and we look forward to the 2024 season.
