Brisbane Grammar School

The Gymnastics program has a proud tradition dating back to the formation of the GPS Association, in 1918. It is built on a foundation of competitive excellence and the holistic development of athletes through the discipline of gymnastics.

In March 2000, the BGS Gymnastics Club (BGSGC) was established to expand the program’s reach and impact. Today, BGSGC is recognised as a leader in men’s gymnastics, supported by a state-of-the-art facility, which includes Olympic-standard equipment and a large foam pit with dismounts from all apparatuses.

Many BGS gymnasts have represented Queensland and Australia. The program offers two streams: the GPS program for current students and a Club program open to external gymnasts, which provides access to expert coaching, world-class facilities, and a strong pathway for progression in the sport.
