BGS Giving Day 2021

Make an Impact

We are excited to announce our first BGS Giving Day!

For 24 hours on Thursday 7 October 2021 we will reach out to the Brisbane Grammar School community – Old Boys, parents and staff, past and present – inviting you to make a donation to support our life-changing Bursary program or STEAM Precinct. Click here to visit the BGS Giving Day website to give early or learn more about becoming an ambassador.

Our goal is to raise $500,000 in just one day. It’s a big ask, but with your support, we can do it!

Double your Impact – Matched Donations

In an exciting development, the BGS P&F Auxiliary will match donations up to $100,000 towards the BGS STEAM Precinct. The precinct will combine Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics and shape the way we educate BGS boys for decades to come. The P&F Auxiliary is made up of many generous volunteers who dedicate their time in the Tuckshop and Grammar Shop and make a real difference to the School and the boys.

Donations to the Bursary program will also be matched by an anonymous donor up to $150,000. Bursaries are about opportunity and provide financial assistance to the families of boys who cannot afford to attend the School. We currently support 37 boys with bursaries. We want to grow that to 10% of our students – 170 boys in total.

How you can help

We encourage you to get behind our first Giving Day and contribute to the Bursary program or STEAM Precinct.

The Impact of Giving

Since Brisbane Grammar School's foundation in 1868, the School has developed and inspired generations of well-rounded boys who have succeeded at home and abroad.

From our early beginnings, it was through the generosity of the BGS community that the School was able to provide an outstanding education for boys. This tradition of generosity continues to this day thanks to our community of parents, Old Boys, staff, volunteers and donors.

Gifts to Brisbane Grammar School provide boys with life-changing opportunities.
