Libraries
In a world shaped by rapid change and digital innovation, Brisbane Grammar School libraries remain central to learning, discovery and connection. While technology reshapes how we access information, we continue to champion the joy and value of reading for pleasure.
BGS offers two vibrant library spaces designed to support the learning and wellbeing of our students: the Middle School Library (Years 5–7) and the Senior Library (Years 8–12). These spaces are lively hubs where boys come together to learn, explore, and connect.
The Middle School Library provides a warm, supportive space where younger students settle into school life and build independent learning habits.
The Senior Library fosters both focused study and collaboration, helping older students with research, assignments and exam preparation.
Across all years, our libraries promote a love of reading through curated collections and engaging programs. We also help students develop vital information and digital literacy skills to navigate today’s complex, connected world.
More than just book collections, BGS Libraries are inclusive, safe and welcoming spaces that support each boy’s reading journey—encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and a lifelong connection to stories and ideas.
